Computing – Essential part of ICT!
Many schools have forgotten ‘Computing’ is an exciting and essential part of the ICT curriculum. Computing is all about how computers are designed, implemented and the underlying principles. Students need to know and understand the ‘concepts’ rather than just the ‘ICT skills for applications’ that we sometimes teach in schools, especially at KS3. Computing is the way to make ICT state of the art and fit for the 21st century!
