Learning Centre
This
part of a national Department for Education & Skills
(DfES) initiative called Playing for Success (PfS),
which uses sport to motivate young people to become successful
learners.
Playing for Success Project is free to schools
to send children aged between 10 -14yrs. Students voluntarily
follow an after-school, 10 week programme, experiencing 20
hours of Literacy, Numeracy & ICT study
support.

Grid: developed by the North Eastern Consortium,
this site has schemes of work for KS1 and 2 ICT together with
lesson
plans, short focussed tasks, assessment and recording tools
and a portfolio of levelled ICT examples. This site also has
information
relating to using ICT to support Numeracy and Literacy.

resource for teachers to find out about good web-sites /
cd roms / and
contribute their own reviews. Do take a look, visit the web

- Topmarks:
A great educational website that is dedicated to finding good
quality sites for schools. 1300 sites are listed by subject
and/or
age range. Recommended!

ICT Advice online In the Technology section you will
find advice, support and information on a wide range of different
technologies. There are clear explanations of what many different
technologies are, different features that are available and
advice on choosing the most appropriate technologies for
your environment.
