Digital Microscope Project

This project aimed to raise awareness of the Intel Microscope, which every school received as part of Science Year 2001, as a versatile and powerful teaching and learning tool. Three schools worked to explore and develop activity ideas and lesson plans that used the microscope and also that were linked to a curriculum area (science, art and geography).

Each of the 3 schools looked at why and how the microscope could be used in a different phase – Foundation, Key stage 1 and key stage 2.

We would like to thank the schools for their contribution to this project.
