| Talk Don't Walk |
Many young people run away due to serious and often long-standing problems within the family home, and running away is often linked to a number of problems that you and others may be experiencing either at school or in your personal life. Here at Talk, Don't Walk, we want to help to reduce the risk of a young person becoming a run away, or if they have already run away, how we can stop then from repeat running. We work with the young run away, their family and any one else involved such as School or even Social Services to address the reasons why the young person ran away in the first place.

School’s Out ?: Raising Self Esteem
& Getting Back Into School
People say that your school years are the best of your life. Most
people either had a great time at school or just think they did or say
they did because that’s what everyone else says. In reality,

or not.

Slowing Down: Getting more out of Education by doing less |
Hertfordshire has traditionally achieved high exam pass rates. Parents have strived to move into the county to get their children into a good school, pushing up the price of property. Results breed expectation, high expectations that rub off on schools, parents and pupils. With league tables, target setting, and gifted and talented programmes promoting high expectations, what happens when young people push themselves too hard at school?
