Diana Anti-Bullying Award: Give your young people the recognition they deserveAt your school there will be outstanding young people that you are working with who are making a difference to the lives of others through tackling bullying within their schools and communities. If there are, why not nominate them for a Diana Anti-Bullying Award? The Diana Anti-Bullying Award is for individuals or groups aged 5-18 who have tackled bullying in their schools and communities. The Diana Anti-Bullying Award really does change the lives of those who receive it. As Ben said recently, “it’s given me so much confidence and made me realise my potential. I now know that what I put my mind to, I can achieve.” SEAL ProgrammeSEAL KS3 Anti Bullying Resource (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning)This new Anti Bullying resource for KS3 can be used to support an intensive whole school focus as part of National Anti Bullying Week; to extend learning opportunities within other SEAL themes; or to support cross curricular coverage of a SEAL theme. The resource is designed to be used as part of a school’s focus on preventing bullying and to creating a whole school culture, ethos and environment where everyone feels safe from intimidation and bullying. The learning opportunities in the theme highlight the particular importance of managing feelings, empathy and social skills to the issue of bullying.
