About Outdoor Connexions HertfordshireOutdoor Connexions Hertfordshire offers a wide range of exciting fieldwork activities designed and developed to support the National Curriculum.
Offering a variety of both day and residential courses in safe and secure environments, each centre has something unique to offer, from specialised activities to a wide range of natural habitats. Outdoor Connexions Hertfordshire has established an excellent reputation both locally and nationally.
The stimulating and challenging team building events help attendees build confidence and self-awareness, whilst developing leadership techniques and learning how to get the best from the colleagues they work with. Our experienced trainers and facilitators look to meet the individual needs of course members through confirming and reinforcing best practice relevant to the work place. We also offer a range of family and adult development courses throughout the year with qualified tutors offering theoretical and practical guidance.
Outdoor Education Provision in HertfordshireYouth Connexions Hertfordshire and Standards and School Effectiveness (part of Children, Schools and Families) are working together to develop a more integrated and coherent approach to the provision of outdoor education and activities for children and young people in Hertfordshire. As a result, Hertfordshire's outdoor education centres at Cuffley Camp and Hudnall Park have transferred to Youth Connexions. Together with the Herts Young Mariners Base, which was already managed by Youth Connexions Hertfordshire, the centres form 'Outdoor Connexions Hertfordshire'. A leaflet describing the three centres and what they offer is available below: Herts Outdoors Flyer (Youth Connexions)
