More Information

CRE meets for a 3 day course in the summer holidays and for one Repertoire Day each term. The County Recorder Ensemble provides high profile opportunities for advanced players. The ensemble explores repertoire from the 15th century to the present day and the size of the ensemble can vary depending on the repertoire chosen. The ensemble has won acclaim at both national and local level performing both in the county and at high profile venues such as the Royal Academy of Music.

The ensemble meets across a series of repertoire days held at different locations around the county, giving potential future members of the ensemble an opportunity to explore new repertoire and meet other players, as well as for the main ensemble to rehearse.
