Free Music Festival
for all Hertfordshire’s Young People comes to St Albans on 20 July 2008

Organised by the Hertfordshire Children’s Trust Partnership, the 3Style event was a huge success last year when it was staged in Broxbourne, East Hertfordshire.

This year it will take place at Batchwood Hall, St Albans on 20th July.

Bands have been selected by a panel of young people, who were keen to ensure something to please a wide variety tastes. The line up has now been announced and includes talented bands from all corners of Hertfordshire. There will be 2 stages and a separate DJ hall where some of the best DJs in the county will be mixing sounds.

This festival is steered and run by young people. There is more than just the music going on, and some of the young people taking part are gaining useful experience in areas such as stage management, photography and lighting. It is also an opportunity for young people to consult with their peers about issues of importance to them, and trained Youth Advocates from across the county will be at the event.

The festival will be alcohol-free, and admission is free of charge. All  young people aged 13-19 - or up to 25 for those with a learning difficulty or disability - are welcome.

Doors open at midday and close at 7pm.
