Hertfordshire Progress Toolkit |
SITSS have been working with the Early Years Advisors to create a new toolkit within Assessment Manager 7 in Sims, facilitating schools in the tracking of pupil progress across the ‘Ages and Stages’ development statements in the EYFS. |
|
EYFS ‘Attainment on Entry’ Data Collection
|
This voluntary data collection will enable the LA to produce analysis, for those schools returning their data, showing how their pupils’ attainment on entry compares with district and county averages, including analysis of vulnerable groups. This data analysis will prove vital for schools in being able to accurately describe in their SEF their pupils’ starting points and thereby describe progress made across the Early Years Foundation Stage. |

Buggy Buddies - Now available to Primary Schools for just £45 |
Buggy Buddies were developed by Hertfordshire County Council to encourage active and healthy lifestyles for young children. The Buggy Buddies are six friendly bugs that can be used by parents and teachers to create fun, outside activities for children to do when they are travelling to and from school and also when they are outside in the garden or at the park.
They have been mentioned positively in the Ofsted reports of several Hertfordshire children's centres. They are an educational resource that children will love and parents and teachers will find useful.
If you have any comments or questions around the Buggy Buddies Scheme please use the following email address: buggy.buddies@hertscc.gov.uk. |
