  • Do you provide mathematical opportunities in both your indoor and outdoor learning environments?
  • Do you allow children time to talk about what they are doing? Do they talk to each other?
  • Is your role-play area supporting mathematical development?
  • Is Problem solving a focus for planning in order for children to explore and enquire aspects of their learning?
    • Are children given opportunities to use their natural surroundings to support their growing knowledge and understanding of mathematics?
