Scheme of Work - Teacher's Plan - 6 weeks
This scheme is designed to support the reading, understanding and interpretation of a range of multicultural texts, using the novel ‘Refugee Boy’ as a base text. Students will have the opportunity to explore and develop their understanding of their own culture, the culture in which they live in and the culture of others. Students will also investigate how different cultures are represented in literature and then create their own multi-modal text about a culture of their choice.
