E2BN Membership Scheme from September 2010 New
As of September 2010, Hertfordshire County Council has changed the way it works with E2BN, your Regional Broadband Consortium. You now have the freedom to choose a more flexible package to support your own learning and teaching agenda. To find out more about the E2BN Membership Scheme:
E-ngage Live offer exciting, interactive learning sessions around Online Safety, Anti-Bullying and PSHE topics, through online collaboration with experts in these fields. It provides a secure environment for learners between Years 5 and 7 to ask and answer questions with these experts, discuss scenarios with their peers and work at their own pace.
Children log-in to the E-ngage Live platform from where they can communicate with the 'Control Room' via a dedicated, secure online messaging system. Sessions take place at specific dates and times and last between 60 and 90 minutes.
Hertfordshire Schools can currently access sessions at no additional charge, through sponsorship from E2BN, up until the end of the school year 2010. Taster sessions for teachers are available on a Wednesday afternoon between 3.30pm and 5pm and the interactive learning sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays.
