The FREE Art Loan Resource for Schools
Suspension in Loan Service from 1 April 2012
Diane Knapman, the Art Collection Administrator is leaving at Easter. The Art Collection Loan Service will continue to operate in the future but there will be a suspension in the service from April 1 until the start of the Autumn Term 2012. This closed period is required for several reasons:
- to allow time to recruit a new Administrator
- to move the collection to a new location
- to implement changes to an improved catalogue and loans management computer system
There will be no deliveries or collections between April – September 2012 and it will not be possible to deal with any items that schools would have normally returned in person. If you have items on loan from 1 April please keep the pieces in school throughout the Summer Term and the school holiday. Once the collection re-opens in September you will be able to make new requests for loans for the Autumn Term.
