Equality and Human Rights Commission
The Equality and Human Rights Commission was launched in October 2007, taking over the role and functions of the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) and assuming new responsibilities for sexual orientation, age, religion and belief, and human rights. It works in both the public and private sectors
to encourage fair treatment and to promote equal opportunities for everyone,
regardless of their race, colour, nationality, or national or ethnic origin.
Experience Pakistan
A new site with it's first activity having taken place in 2002.
It provides a site for schools to access for a sponsored research trip
to Pakistan. It aims to promote better understanding about Pakistan amongst
school age children and young people.
