How to Teach Drawing when you can't drawLittle Heath School, Potters BarThanks again for the course today and the resources. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will use your ideas to hold a staff and teacher inset soon! I went straight back into school in the afternoon and taught my year 4 class how to draw the Japanese Beetle and they loved it. It actually fitted in perfectly with what I'd planned to teach anyway and so I just altered the plan slightly to incorporate your ideas. I taught the class about the 2 sides of the brain and they were fascinated and it made the class so quiet! I even heard them tell each other to stop thinking with the left side etc...! Below are works in progress and they are combined with pointillism to add their own creative touch, but I thought you would like to see what we did following your course. |
