Hertfordshire County Show School Art CompetitionWin £150 for your school plus other prizes...
CompetitionShow organisers, the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society, are inviting school children to take part in an art competition with a Futuristic/Technology theme. Titan the Robot is visiting the show this year. So, children, use your imagination and send in paintings or models or any piece of artwork with your creative ideas about the future. Perhaps a farm machine for the future, or a human being or an animal of the future with special powers, or even something different that we might eat in the future…
Prizes
How to enterThere are three age categories:
Schools can enter all three categories if they wish, but can only submit one entry per category. The closing date is Friday, 3rd May 2013 and all entries must be sent to: County Show Competition Don’t forget to include the pupil’s name and age along with the school name and a contact person’s details with your entries so that we know who to contact if you win! Unfortunately, we cannot return entries, however, schools/winners can pick up their entries from the showground at the end of the show on Sunday, May 26th if they wish. How will the artwork be judged?The artwork will be displayed at the show and final judging will take place on Saturday, May 25th at the show. There will be one winner per category.
* FREE CHILD TICKETS * The organisers are offering 35 complimentary child tickets per school to Hertfordshire schools on a ‘first come, first served’ basis (children under 5 are free). To apply for free tickets, the headteacher should send an email to info@hertsshow.com by 28th March 2013.
