NewsletterSummer 2007Welcome to the summer edition of the 14-19 newsletter. This newsletter provides updates and information about 14-19 developments both nationally and in Hertfordshire. This has been an extremely busy time for the 14-19 phase of education. In March the results of the Diploma Gateway process were announced by the DfES (now DCSF) and Hertfordshire fared very well with 17 successful Diploma submissions for 2008 or 2009. Many thanks to SAPG Co-ordinators and all colleagues involved for the huge amount of work put into these applications. All SAPG groups are now considering the next round of Diploma Applications which will take place next term. Please see more detailed information in the newsletter below or click here. In addition, the third round of the 14-19 Progress Checks has been completed (see link to Progress Check information below) and Hertfordshire County Council has just gone through its Joint Area Review of Services for Vulnerable Young People. It is always helpful to receive comments and feedback on newsletters to ensure that future editions are as good as possible. Please send any comments to Juliet Greely, Senior Project Officer email: Juliet.greely@hertscc.gov.uk To access the latest 14-19 Newsletter from the DCSF website:
