Director's Annual Report 2007

Director's report 2007The fourth annual report by the Director of Children, Schools and Families on standards and quality in Hertfordshire schools sets out the agenda for the County Council in its work to support and challenge schools to continue to raise educational standards in Hertfordshire.
The report shows another successful year with outcomes improving across all key stages and schools doing well in their inspections. The report also includes the main findings in relation to schools of the JAR of all children's services in Herfordshire which took place in April-May 2007.

Director's Annual Report 2006

The third annual report by the Director of Children, Schools and Families on standards and quality in Hertfordshire schools sets out the agenda for the County Council in its work to support and challenge schools to continue to raise educational standards in Hertfordshire.
The report shows that there is a strong improvement trend in standards in Hertfordshire with results rising for the third year running against an already strong base.

Erratum: page 7, column 1, paragraph 2, second sentence should read as follows:

At level 5, results fell by 1% to 54% compared to a 2% fall nationally to 45%
