2009 Hertfordshire Learning Partnership

The Hertfordshire Learning Partnership (HLP) is for all maintained schools and other settings in Hertfordshire. It sets out the key principles for the way in which schools, Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) and the wider children’s partnership work together to break down barriers to learning and improve outcomes for all children and young people.

Hertfordshire Learning PartnershipThe HLP also sets out:
• the local authority framework for monitoring, challenge, support and intervention in schools
• the Hertfordshire Children’s Trust Partnership (HCTP) framework for integrated practice
• procedures for working with schools causing concern
• the school self-evaluation summary profile

It was revised and republished in April 2009 in line with the anticipated duty of schools to cooperate with Children's Trust arrangements, following consultation with schools, key CSF officers, the HCTP and other partners.

HLP April 2009 and other key documents can be accessed from the links below. Two copies have been sent to every school, one for the school and one for the chair of governors.
