Choosing your Network

SITSS recommendations for computer systems in primary schools have been developed in consultation with the SSE ICT curriculum advisers.

Networked systems can provide:

  • Sharing of internet facilities, files and folders, printers and other peripherals
  • An exciting choice of pre-installed curriculum software
  • Optimisation of management time and automation of many processes and facilitation of remote maintenance of your system. Click on this link for information on Managing Your Network.
  • Protection against inadvertent or malicious alteration of settings
  • SITSS can provide cover for hardware faults and software configuration; anti-virus and security protection.
