The Sims Attendance module allows you to:

  • Print Manual Registration Sheets/OMR Sheets
  • Enter Registration/OMR Sheets Data into Attendance
  • Print Absence Sheets/OMR Sheets
  • Enter Absence Sheet/OMR sheets into Attendance
  • Deal with missing Marks and unexplained absences
  • Print Reports and Letters.

Attendance Course Outcomes and Outlines

This course will enable users to record Statutory Attendance, making it easier to:

  • Produce letters to parents chasing unauthorised absences or lates.
  • Create reports for Head Teacher’s Governor’s and EWO’s.
  • Produce the DfES return for authorised and unauthorised absences in minutes.
  • Print Official Registers
  • Create School Prospectus Analysis

Knowledge Required

This course is for users who have a good working knowledge of the Sims Database.

 

Useful Reports for Pupil’s Attendance Records

These reports can be used for Pupil’s End of Year Reports to parents.

Select the route:

Reports|Whole Group Student Report|Student Analysis by Attendance Category.

Reports|Whole Group Student Report|Student Analysis by Attendance Code.
