SIMS Learning Gateway PolicySchools should consider creating an SLG Acceptable Use Policy that parents would be required to sign before being issued with username and password for SLG. This process could also be used as a final confirmation of the accuracy of their details and the details of their children. Staff with access to SLG should also be made aware of their responsibilities when accessing pupil data via the SLG. A sample policy that schools may want to adapt for their own use is made available here. CSF0153 Model SIMS Learning Gateway Policy
