Preparing for Autumn School Census - Secondary Schools
The following documents have been created to help you to prepare for the Autumn School Census. The Data Preparation Guide shows you how to identify missing or invalid data, and how to correct it. Please start the data preparation now as early identification of potential data problems is vital to ensure your return is submitted on time. You should work through all sections of the Data Preparation Guide and check the required data areas, using the checklist on page 3 to record your progress.
Post- 16 information will again be collected in this census and you should check and prepare this information carefully. Please refer to the section entitled Preparing Post-16 Information in the Data Preparation Guide for information on how to do this, and for details of courses that SITSS is offering. The Post-16 section of the Data Preparation Guide refers extensively to the second document posted below, Post-16 Data Autumn Census , for details of how to carry out the required processes. Therefore, please have both documents to hand when preparing your data for the autumn census.
