AnyComms
AnyComms is the software used by schools to transmit data directly to the data collection team at county hall. This software should be used in association with SITSS instructions.
A new version of AnyComms has been produced which installs multiple desktop icons that will be used to send commonly required returns to the LA, such as School Census and Finance Returns. An extra icon labeled Generic will also be installed which could be used for any other type of return that might be thought suitable for collection in the future. An Archive folder will also be created. AnyComms will retrieve and send the appropriate return automatically, depending on which of the icons you select.
The AnyComms upgrade process must be carried out on all the workstations in which the AnyComms software is present. Upgrading is a very quick process
Important Note: if the computer you upgrade is running Windows 2000 or Windows 2000 Server, the upgrade will prompt you to restart the computer. Ensure that you carry out the upgrade at a time when the computer can be conveniently restarted.
