Admissions Transfer File (ATF)

The Admissions Transfer File (ATF) contains a list of applicants who have been offered a place at your school. Importing this file will enable you to finish the admissions process and begin the curriculum planning for the forthcoming year.

When a file is available for your school on the schools electronic admissions module (SeAM), you will be notified by email. You can then create the file and import it into Sims .net. Before importing you MUST have set up a pre-admission group for the applicants. We also recommend that you have to hand an electronic copy or printout of the spreadsheet containing your applicant details that you have already received from County.

Some secondary schools have used the ATF in previous years for the admissions process, but many schools prefer to use CTF files provided by their feeder schools via the s2s website. Please read the letter below before deciding which process to adpot this year in your school.
