Sims.net Assessment Manager 7 and TRACA Assessment SoftwareWorking in conjunction with the Primary Strategy and Assessment Teams, SITSS has developed templates in Sims.net/Assessment Manager 7 based on DCSF National Strategy guidelines. These new templates offer schools the ability to record pupil progress data within Sims .net/Assessment Manager 7 and to reproduce distribution and tracking sheets. Extensive analysis will be available based on student data already held. As a result of SITSS having developed these templates, on behalf of HCC, schools will be able to use Assessment Manager 7 with little effort. The advantages to using Assessment Manager 7 are:
We believe migrating from TRACA to AM7 offers many advantages and, with continual improvement of the software by Capita, and SITSS’ ongoing development of templates and reporting, schools will get greater value from their Management Information Systems. Following consultation with SSE Advisory colleagues and schools, we have decided to stop any further developments of TRACA and recommend you to implement/extend your school’s use of Sims AM7 as a replacement for TRACA. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a demonstration of the NEW SIMS.net/AM7 software, so you can see for yourself the proposed replacement for TRACA.
