ConfigurationFor pricing details on purchasing a new office PC, please see our School Management section, this includes a complete breakdown of PC specification and costs. Please note that these prices include optional extras and also include the commissioning costs of a technician to build & test the PC in the workshop and the transfer & configuration of the PC on site. If you decide to purchase a new office PC from elsewhere, to ensure that you are getting value for money, SITSS would strongly recommend comparing the specification with our current prices. SITSS will request a copy of the PC specification before commencing with any configuration, this will ensure that the PC is up to specification and we will recommend changes if required. To enable SITSS to transfer and support your MIS applications, such as SIMS, Keys, Dinner Money and Traca, the PC must be built to SITSS Standard. Any PC purchased through SITSS will be configured to SITSS Standard, however PCs purchased elsewhere will need to be configured before commencing with any data transfer. It can take 2-3 hours to configure a PC to SITSS Standards in the workshop, longer if done on site. We can organise the collection of your new PC so that we can build to SITSS Standard, alternatively you can ask your provider to configure using our SITSS Standard XP Installation document.
