School IT Systems Support is accredited Technical Support Centre by the Institute of IT Training.

Accreditation with the Institute of IT Training as a ‘Technical Support Centre’

School IT Systems Support has successfully renewed its accreditation with the Institute of IT Training as a ‘Technical Support Centre’. The process involves the review of all services supplied by School IT Systems support, submission of marketing and contractural documents, review of SITSS policies and procedures, whole day consultation with an institute consultant. Following the consultation an ‘Approval Visit Report’ and Action Plan is presented by the Institute to support its findings. SITSS is committed to working in accordance with the IITT Code of Practice.

SITSS - SIMS Accreditation

School IT Systems Support is seeking re-Accreditation with Capita SIMS for 2012. The accreditation lasts for 2 years and ours is up for renewal this year and we are asking for your help.

Part of the Accreditation is a self-review framework and the other is a Capita survey direct to schools wth regard to the quality of support they receive from their SIMS team. The survey is due to 'go live' on the 12th March 2012 and will close on 23rd March 2012.

Capita will email the Admin accounts for all schools, supported by SITSS, requesting completion of the survey and sending all the relevant information including a unique password for your school. Joining instructions should be received by schools in the week commencing 5th March 2012 (only on-line returns will be accepted). The Capita documents below: 'School Survey questions - Preperation document' and 'Schools Frequently Asked Questions' are available to download for your information.

We would be very grateful if you could find the time to complete the survey as it plays a large part in us gaining re-accreditation and your school could win a digital camera for taking part!!
