About SITSS
School IT Systems Support (SITSS) is a trading unit
within Hertfordshire County Council; Children, Schools & Families;
Learning and School Effectiveness Division (SITSS until 1st September 2006 came under the Commissioning, Performance and Resources Division). The team provides a
comprehensive service in supporting Hertfordshire schools' computer requirements
and management information systems. This includes:
- Advice on purchasing equipment
- Design and commissioning for curriculum and administration systems
- Networks - installation and configurement
- Technical support
- Network and anti-virus support
- Software support for school management information systems
- Consultancy
- Training courses for school management information systems, and on-site
training for school staff where appropriate
