Personnel Services - Speedy, Practical and Valued
Personnel Services, the traded service of CSF Human Resources, provides
a high quality service on all personnel related matters and is highly
valued by all those who use it.
The speedy, practical service provided by our knowledgeable and friendly
staff covers the whole range of personnel issues, including:
- Pre-employment checks
- Drawing up and issuing contracts and supporting documents
- A comprehensive and regularly updated personnel guide and back-up
pay and conditions telephone service for all employees
- Advice on maternity provision and pensions
- A weekly term-time internal vacancy bulletin
- Advice on change and new employment issues affecting both teaching
staff and local government employees
Professional advice is available on employment law, including sensitive
and time-consuming cases arising from disciplinary, grievance and redundancy
procedures. Support is provided for Headteachers and Governors on individual
casework connected with these procedures and on the management of ill-health
and absence cases.
Tailor-made training courses on any aspect of personnel management are
arranged for individual schools or clusters of schools, direct or in partnership
with the Governor Support Service.
Most schools have a continuing contract with CSF Human Resources, in
which case you do not have to do anything to renew it.
Personnel Guide for Schools
This manual is intended for Schools use, in relation to personnel issues.
The manual is also available in hardcopy (in two volumes) and floppy
disk format.
There are sections of the guide that appear to be out of date. However,
please note that sections of the guide are in the process of being revised
and we hope to distribute updates quarterly.
