Hertfordshire Catering
Hertfordshire Catering is the County Council’s school meal provider,
serving some 40,000 meals per day to primary schools as well as providing
the service in 45 secondary schools across the region. We have always
had a strong commitment to high standards and healthy eating and welcome
the greater focus on improving the nutritional content of children’s
meals that has been prompted by Jamie Oliver’s series of TV programmes.
We can provide advice on all of the following:

- Environmental health – ensuring that identified work is done
- Advice and support when using light and heavy kitchen equipment
- Advice and support in making dining room furniture purchases
- Assistance with contract budget figures
- ‘Pay as you use’ meals quality and provision inspection
