Following the popularity of Oct 2011's walk to school materials , we are making them available to Hertfordshire schools for use all year round.

Walk Around the World

Can your school walk around the world?

Schools may want to create  a wall display of the world either in each classroom or in the hall or somewhere where the whole school can see how far the school is travelling.  We have provided templates for you to use or you can use your own ingenuity and artistry to create your world.

Travel Matters

Travel Matters is a new sustainable travel website with free teaching resources for primary school teachers. It has been developed by Gateshead Council’s School Travel Team and is now available for Hertfordshire schools.
