Pedestrian Skills

Pedestrian Skills training is available for schools. The programme at Key Stage 1 provides an opportunity for children to go out with trained volunteers to help raise their awareness of road safety. At Key Stage 2 children are provided with the practical skills to identify safe crossing places and cope with parked cars / junctions again using trained volunteers.

Further information can be obtained from the link below.

Engage in Road Safety will be available for Year 6 pupils. Using ICT to work with experts as a scenario unfolds in real time, it provides an exciting, interactive way of learning about road safety.
