CRB's and Hosting Foreign Exchange Students Updated

Please find the most up to date guidance from the DCSF with regards to CRB's and foreign exchange students. When applying for a CRB check please call the job title on the application form 'Foreign Exchange Host', the role will be classed as a voluntary role.

This document gives advice, guidance and information to support the development of work-related learning in Hertfordshire and has been jointly written by the 14-19 and the Herts CRB teams of Hertfordshire County Council (HCC).  It relates to national guidance that came into force in January 2007 and found in the publication, ‘Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education’.
