About Sharing Good Practice?
This section of the web site is intended to be a vehicle through which
schools can share good practice.
There are already case studies of good practice on various web pages.
However, in order to help build the bank of case studies three new case
studies will be featured on the Good Practice
Web Page each month. The main aim is to get good practice shared quickly
and easily - the case studies are therefore very brief.
If you have an aspect of good practice that could be shared please contact
Diane Croston on Tel: 01438 843349 or use the good practice case study
form to send in the information.
We believe this site has great potential for developing learning across
Hertfordshire. The site can be expanded and if you have ideas for additional
sections that could be developed please contact Diane Croston
or anyone in CSF.

per half term on their web site:

- Look, Listen, Learn
Waltham Forest head teacher, says that by shadowing your
fellow teachers, you can learn from and build on existing good
practice. She and her colleagues have found this to be an enjoyable,
easy and effective way of sharing ideas, which saves them from
constantly having to “reinvent the wheel”.
- Teachers Toolbox
'Teacher's Toolbox' is the name used at The Highfield School, Letchworth
for the regular after-school professional development sessions
led by teachers for teachers. Attendance is voluntary and each
session is short and sharp, never lasting longer than 30 minutes.
Teachers from other schools are also invited.

many times have we heard resourceful people say this? Chances are
that such people not only build up formal and informal networks
but they also keep some sort of record or ‘little black
book’.
