Access to Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) Information Systems
Hertfordshire schools use of a number of Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) information systems and over the summer HCC has been introducing changes to make its services more accessible. In the past, security restrictions have made it cumbersome for some schools to access our applications and so we have now made SeaM, Solero, SAP and the HCC phone directory readily available on the Internet to all schools albeit with appropriate security controls in place.
Adopting the new access arrangements is very easy and I would like to encourage your school to do so at the earliest opportunity. Most schools will be moving to new Internet service providers if they have not already done so, and this includes schools that take their service from Herts for Learning. When you move over to your new service provider you will find that your old access arrangements no longer work so it is also important that you start using the new access arrangements sooner rather than later.
