The Hertfordshire Learning Platform
 The Hertfordshire LP offers the potential to transform the way we manage and communicate information in and between schools and provides the next big step in online working for the county’s schools.
The Hertfordshire LP is core funded for all members of school staff. Schools also have the opportunity to purchase accounts for pupils (and included in these are accounts for parents/carers).
The LP can be accessed from any location with internet access without any need for additional software.
The service does not include a Virtual Learning Environment, apart from for our Year 6 pupils (see the VLE section for further information). Whilst the LP will enhance the potential of a VLE, it is a standalone service which will not require a VLE to run.
